Close Bet By bet365
How to use the ‘close bet’ feature with bet365
As much as we love bet365, there was always something lacking with them. Not any more! Betfair have had the ‘Cash Out’ option for quite some time and bet365 have finally brought out there own version, called ‘Close Bet’. Essentially, it is the same as cash out and allows you to close your bet early for a smaller win.
The new betting feature from bet365 is available for a few sports at the minute inclusing football, basketball and tennis. The close bet feature applies to all bets placed on desktop (normal bet365 website), mobile, tablet, iPhone, iPad & bet365’s premium mobile sports-book.
If you have placed your bet and think that you will lose, you can change your mind mid games and take a settlement fee in return for your now-void bet. Depending on the bet or the potential outcome, you’ll either make an tidy early profit on a winning bet or a reduced loss on your stake for a losing bet. Either way, it is better than losing everything. You can of course take adavantage of Close Bet while matches are still in-play and decide what you want to do with the bet.
You will find the close bet option in the top right of the bet365 homepage, or on the mobile app, we have a little diagram below to show you what it looks like!
Nearly all bet types are currently supported by the Close Bet option. These include singles, doubles, trebles, accumulators, lucky 15 and more.
The following markets are currently excluded from the bet365 Close Bet method:
- Asian Handicap
- Goal line
- Draw No Bet
- First/next/last goalscorer
- Anytime scorecast
- First half scorecast
Overall, close bet is a great feature to bet365 and something we feel they had been lacking for a while. Check it out for yourself at www.bet365.com
